Fitness trainer explains who shouldn’t drink protein

Fitness trainer Evgenia Abdullaeva, in an interview with Sport-Express, stated that before taking protein supplements, it’s important to consider that in some cases they can be dangerous.

The expert listed the main contraindications, including allergic reactions to flavor additives, individual intolerance to certain ingredients, kidney diseases, low blood pressure, and cardiovascular conditions.

“I would not recommend it to those who don’t understand how to properly build a nutrition and workout program and think that taking protein alone will start muscle growth and active fat burning,” said the trainer.

As alternatives, Abdullaeva suggested considering foods like chicken eggs, chicken, turkey, or duck meat, veal, beef, rabbit, fish, and seafood. Additionally, protein can be obtained through dairy products, legumes, lentils, and soy.
